This is a random glitch that may occur on the last level of Halo 3. While helping my friends with the Vidmaster Annual Achievement, we encountered something strange. When the flood dispersal pods started dropping down, one landed but did not open up. Instead, it just stayed there. We do not know how this glitch occurred nor do we know how to reproduce it. But we are still investigating it. So enjoy!
